Sanitary

Really? Who are they trying to fool? Mama didn't raise no dummy. How sanitary could it possibly be; it's full of shit?! The things one thinks of while hiking in suburbia.

That brings me to the term 'sanitary napkin'...certainly not sanitary once it has been used, and you definitely wouldn't want to use it to wipe your mouth after a meal. I wonder where that term originated. I've heard it used to come with a belt. Almost sounds like a fashion statement...

And these are the musings of this word junkie today.

Peace be to you.

yeah nothing ever seemed sanitary about the word sanitary ...wonder how it got its name... i think it is a misplaced word or a Webster word error if Webster was the one that made words... like scarf... it just does not connect with warmth ... scarf should be a name of a dog not something you wear....weird

this post makes me feel old..."I've heard it use to come with a belt" ..while i only had to wear that belt for a year.... i can't believe you did not see one and you only "heard" about it...lol
